Rigging

Rigging is serious business and safety is always a top priority at IPG. IPG regularly maintains and certifies our rigging equipment, trains our staff on proper rigging techniques, and uses only rated rigging supplies.

RIG POINTS

Rig Point determine what can and cannot be hung from above. IPG works with facilities to determine the load rating and specifications of rigging points and then plans accordingly.

CHAIN MOTORS & CONTROLLERS

IPG has a full inventory of single phase and 3-phase chain motors of various weight capacities. Our chain motors are all inspected and certified annually. We own controllers to raise and lower multiple motors simultaneously, or one at a time. IPG also has all the hardware to attach chain motors to rigging points, and to truss and other flyware.

TRUSS

IPG owns a wide variety of aluminum truss of various lengths, including corner blocks, hinges, and bases.

GROUND SUPPORTED RIGGING

Sometimes there are no good options for hanging items from the ceiling. IPG has options for ground supported rigging including crank-up lifts, pipe & base, truss towers, and more.

SAFETY

IPG provides safety cables for all lighting instruments, fixtures, chain motors, and any other items that are flown overhead. IPG take safety seriously and insists on safe rigging practices.
